Carl left the Zappa fold and it appears he moved to Texas, found
a few friends and played some blues. This is a good thing. The
album has a good feel from the familiar starter (Big Leg Emma)
through the very last tune. The Mannish Boys take on Otis Blackwell,
Junior Wells and even a bit of Frank himself and do a darn fine
job of it. Honing ones chops with the Mothers can only help out
in the long run. Nothing fancy here folks, simple cover graphics
and a phot of some happy lookin’ fellas.
