Notes: Recorded
in his home town of Memphis, with microphones hung from the rafters
to capture that true "live" sound this record is a fun
romp across an early landscape molded into rock and roll. After
playing on 21 gold records with Elvis, Bill gathered together some
players and took center stage. A simple record, the arrangements
are mostly spare and leave room to breathe. The cover art, black
crayon or charcoal roughs out the dancing forms, a few butts in
the ashtray and the source of sound. And don't forget, as the cover
calls to our attention, this record is "teen terrific for
dancing".
