Notes: One
of John's strongest releases, this record followed the more rustic
Tumblweed Connection. Classic songwriting paired with
a heavy string sound brings emotion to songs like the title tune.
There are no two minute dance tunes here, Elton strike a more serious
tone here and allows himself time to develop the songs as they
roll forward. A bit of the seventies jeans fashion sense is displaed
on the cover and the inner cover has a nice portrait of the young
Mr. John.
