Notes: This
is the first effort for Jamal's trio and they pretty much hit
the target all the way through. The band seems to be of one mind
when approaching the arrangements and dynamics. Very clean, very
tight. The front cover has a nod to times past with its ashtray
and three cigarettes burning away on the piano. The rear cover
has some words by Jack Tracy who at that time was editor for Down
Beat Magazine.
