Notes:  How could one go wrong with the musical talent gathered here? The record has an old-timey feel to it that is enhanced by the tasty mix of mando, guitar, banjo and the back porch singing. Hmmm, close your eyes and smell that corn meal starting to brown, the grease sizzling and the water of the river running on by. Simple pleasures served up with just enough of the trimmings to whet the appetite of any lover of bluegrass, folk or southern story-telling blues.
