Notes:  A whole slew punk and hard rocking acts pay tribute to those wild and crazy gals from Japan, Shonen Knife. They've been called the "Osaka Ramones" among other things and continue on as a duo, but this tribute culls their early material for gems and rocks. And this two LP set comes in both white vinyl and pink vinyl for the discriminating fan. With the wide range of acts represented here there's something for everyone. The cover art of the ladies in their Transformer alter-egos are wreaking havoc on the crowd, just as their music does each time they play. I'm not sure who that is on the back cover...anybody out there know? Fun stuff.
