Notes: A
sampler LP put out in 1970 to alert the consumer of Capitol's "new
spirit". One must assume this pertains to the breadth of
artists on this slab of wax. The talent ranges from the blues
of Mississippi Fred McDowell to the other-wordly prog-rock of
Pink Floyd passing through most genres along the way. The cover
art leans toward the Peter Max school and the inner cover contains
a short bio of each artist. Lot of good music here folks.
