Artist:  XTC

Title:  Black Sea

Date:  1980

Cover Design:  Backdrop by Ken White, photograph by Ralph Hall

Notes:  I was never a big XTC fan until I heard this album.   "Living Through Another Cuba" is a great example of 80's pop.  Mr. Partridge pens some very good material and the rest of the lads fill their rolls equally well.  The cover gets its' impact from the combination of the illustrated backdrop and the deep sea diving outfits.  Capt. Nemo look out...

Line Up:

Terry Chambers: tama drums, drum synth, free form voice

Dave Gregory:  guitars, synth, piano and the odd vox humana or two

Colin Moulding:  sings his songs and plays his Epiphone Newport

Andy Partridge:  his own voice, a guitar he thinks he owns, a synth he's no sure who owns and other noises that could have been anybody's
